Ebay treasures: German Toyota Sports 800

I spotted this Ebay treasure a few days ago on AEU86. The German user fax0815 found this Toyota Sports 800 on Ebay kleinanzeigen (small ads) for a mere 7000 euros!

Just imagine: for only 7000 euros you can own one of the most sought after Toyotas! And according to doggy its price has dropped from 9900 euros to 7000 euros already!

Ebay treasures: yellow RexSeven

I can imagine people thinking the first generation RX7 (SA22 and FB) looks outdated. So obviously you want to update the looks of it and just model it after some newer model… Well, this little SA22 (for sale on Marktplaats) does have some updated looks!

First of all: the tail lights are clearly influenced by the Ferrari 575. But if you look closer to the design you can spot they are actually Opel GT tail lights.

Ebay treasures: Almost new red panda Levin AE86!

Okay it is not entirely new and it surely is not for sale on Ebay (actually on Goo-net), but it only drove 36k kilometers so far!

Ebay treasures: Most epic Corolla Levin AE86 for sale!

It is really a shame: the most epic AE86 is now for sale! 86jnosakuretu48te just put it up for sale in this Youtube video:

Looking at all the mods on this AE86 it is really something special (apart from starring in those the epic videos of course!) and I personally wouldn’t see him selling it at all. So perhaps someone lurking around here is willing to buy this icon? :P

Ebay treasures: Datsun 240Z Turbo Diesel

I came across this little gem half a year ago but last week it popped up on Marktplaats for the second time: a 240Z with Turbo Diesel conversion by Mosselman!

The 240Z has been given a nice set of Mag Style alloys and a set of ELC mirrors:

Let’s hop over to the real big modification to this 240Z: the diesel engine!

The L24 has been replaced by a huge LD28T unit with engine tuning by Mosselman and also features an intercooler. There are no output figures given on this car but I reckon the LD28T must have enormous amounts of torque!

The name Mosselman tuning may have a weird feeling for people familiar with the similar named artist but the company is actually a bit older than him (over 30 years old) and a very serious company.

The asking price of 8750 euros may sound a bit steep, but if you drive a lot this “fuel efficient” 240Z may actually be worth its price after all.
