When I spotted this advert on Marktplaats earlier this week I was surprised that a Colt with this low mileage (28000 kilometers, confirmed) was for sale for less than 3500 euros!

According to the claim on Marktplaats (Dutch Craigslist) this 1992 Daihatsu Opti was actually a show car for the 1992 Leipzig Auto Show:
The car has been shipped from Japan to Leipzig to be shown to the public. Apparently the public didn’t like it that much and the Opti never made it to Europe.
The car was never shipped back to Japan and put in storage somewhere in Europe and recently came back to the surface:

The Mark 2 entry level engine already had an output of 120hp (cars with ten times less horses were still for sale back then!) and its top model, the 3.8 litre XK model, featured an output of 220hp. To put that into contrast: that is about as much as the Lexus IS250 outputs nowadays.

This ad on Marktplaats (Dutch Ebay/Craigslist) really shocked me: a genuine Mazda RX5 with less than 1000 kilometer on the odometer!
Obviously I contacted the seller and he confirmed the car is genuine. It never left the dealership and nobody has owned the car before and it was only used occasionally for a (very) short drive to keep it in good condition!

I spotted this Ebay treasure a few days ago on AEU86. The German user fax0815 found this Toyota Sports 800 on Ebay kleinanzeigen (small ads) for a mere 7000 euros!
Just imagine: for only 7000 euros you can own one of the most sought after Toyotas! And according to doggy its price has dropped from 9900 euros to 7000 euros already!

Yesterday Ricardo sent me a link to Ebay where a Belgian sells this pristine Carina 1.6 DX coupe!
It appears to be completely rust free and bone stock.
