Back in 1976 Mazda happily provided Fuji International Speedway a new official pace car for their Grand Championships:
The Cosmo RE-130AP replaced a Nissan Fairlady 260Z (as seen on the right) and held the crown for a couple of years. I think it is one of the most beautiful pace cars ever!
The initial version had rims that looked like (Bridgestone) Zona Spoke 10 rims but then with four spokes. The the later type in this picture featured the Zona FIN-2 rims. This is a picture of the four spoke design:
Anyone familiar with the Zona Spoke rims and recognizes the four spoke design?

While searching for a second hand summer ride I passed this lonely Honda Prelude Mk2 in an industrial zone:
Here in the Netherlands the second generation Prelude is nowadays almost extinct so finding one in a decent state was quite an encounter. I even made an U-turn for it!
Yet again did Bankakuemiko post up a junkyard stroll where he investigates several junked JDM cars:
BTW: Did you notice the Nissan Cedric Y34 has a snow setting on its automatic gearbox?

In contrary of the previous wrecked Skyline GTS-t HCR32 this owner is actually quite sad about his loss… Obviously he only acts like that. ;)

Back in September 1982 the 3T-GTE powered Carina TA63 succeeded the 18R-G powered RA63 and during the whole production run this Carina was considered as the top of the line. The 3T-GTE propelled the Carina into almost supercar-like performance!
Nowadays the 160hp 3T-GTE performance resembles more like the average 1.8 litre engine in your Ford Focus wagon and I can really understand this TA63 was in need for a new and better performing engine.
