While walking towards Fisherman’s Wharf I spotted this nicely tuned Honda CRX mk II:

Down on the Street: Honda CRX Mk. II
The CRX only had two bucketseats in the front, a rollcage and was sitting on four golden dished SSR Mk III wheels (or copies). Saw the car drive around the block a couple of times before it parked on the opposite side of the street.

As you could have read here I spotted lots and lots of cars in the SF Bay area (and a bit outside that area) and took a lot of pictures of them. Most of them were done with my trusty analogue SLR and one of them was this Toyota Cressida MX61:

From the other angle the car looks perfectly normal, but as you can see from this angle you can see the Jokers face in it. ;)
At the day of my arrival in the SF Bay area I went to the Santa Clara mall and parked at the top. I immediately noticed this Celica GT Liftback parked so I parked right next to it and took a few snapshots (including some B/W following later).

Down at the mall: Toyota Celica GT RA64
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I suspect it is the 22R powered RA64 model since no other US models are marketed as a GT (or GT-S).
The paintjob on this Celica has seen better days, just like a lot of other 15+ year old cars I spotted. I now understand why cars in California need a new paintjob regularly. ;)
Imagine the surprise I had when I biked home earlier this week and saw a something resembling an early eighties Toyota two blocks away. Biked over there and to my surprise it was an immaculate Toyota Crown S110!

Toyota Crown LS110
The Crown itself is a 2.2 liter diesel powered LS110 and has been imported into the Netherlands in February this year. The owner must be a very proud owner I guess.
I took some photos (B/W celluloid, so need processing) and, the one you are viewing now, a quick snap with my phonecam. Black and white photos will follow shortly.
Only a short posting today, so only this single 1991 Mazda MX5 NA today:

Blue 1991 Mazda MX5 NA
For a long time I thought it was the same as another blue one in town, but only yesterday I found out they are actually different from each other. I’ll take a picture of the other one for next Miata Hunting!
Even though the Toyota Supra 3.0 turbo MA70 isn’t that rare I hardly spot one in the wild. This one was driving in front of me when I visited our second Dutch office for my work. Lucky enough it parked in the same multi-storey car park as I did.

I took a quick snapshot with my phone cam and a better picture with my analogue camera that still needs to be developed…
