Initial D
I was browsing some videos on Youtube and came across this Japanese Candid Camera gag (at least that's what I think it is) putting some celebrity in a Fire Cola commercial where the taxi driver drives Takumi style with a Toyota Crown S130:
Yep, all the cola end up on that poor celebrity! Again and again, and again, and again, and again ... until some very well known cop arrives on the scene in Seibu Keisatsu style. :D
As you can see, it is very difficult to keep even a cup of Cola in your hands when the driver is doing 180s and you are sitting in the back. That's why Takumi has his cupholders up front and not in the back! ;)
We all did it once: doing a dry drift run. I did it as well: try out that heel-to-toe technique when standing still. Do a clutch kick without the risk of damaging your clutch. Do a quick up- and downshift without the chance hearing of grinding teeth from your gearbox. A very effective and safe way of learning to know your car.
But what if you are actually on a circuit and have blown your engine to bits and still want to enjoy your car? Well, you make videos like this:
I must say this guy is quite good in mimicking the 16v 4AGE and the T50 gearshifts! It kind of reminded me of this guy imitating an "import car" with his mouth. Maybe he watched Initial D a bit too much? :P
Moero Downhill Night 2 was my WTF moment of the week:
Yes, that is right: a downhill racing dating sim! WTF?! ┐('~`;)┌
Now, a dating sim isn't that shocking, but keep in mind that this is an Hentai dating sim! So, cars, downhill racing, babes and X-rated scenes all together in one game? The developers must have thought why not combine all great things boys like?! And when that turned out to be a success they created this second game! (´∀`)
Car lineup is a nice one! Cars seen in the intro so far are: a black/red Suzuki Capuchino, a lotus Elise, a yellow Toyota Supra JZA70, a white Toyota MR2 SW20, a panda Trueno, a white Nissan Silvia S14, a Toyota Celica ST162 (?) and last but not least, a silver Nissan Skyline KPGC10! ( ゚ ヮ゚)
The fun part is that the game can be yours for only $24.95!
TonyA. from FuzzyFeeling posted some old videos from some Silvias drifting on Mikuni pass way way back in 2003 by Youtube user kcrmsr. kcrmsr posted some other videos as well so naturally I browsed all of them till there was no video left to watch. ;)
This one was a quite funny one, where he is doing an Itsuki in one of the Silvias (starting at 1:09):
People who have seen Initial D will probably know exactly what I mean with doing an Itsuki, for others: in the episode "The Rainy Downhill!" from Stage One Kenta Nakamura (member of the Red Suns) challenges Takumi for a downhill race in the rain on Mt. Myogi. Takumi accepts and asks Itsuki (who hitched a ride from Takumi) to sit on the rear bench of the Trueno. In effect Itsuki adds extra weight on the rear wheels while tumbling from left to right (and vice versa) through the interior of the Trueno.
As you can see, IRL it is the same. The guy can't even sit straight while cornering the first three turns and on the last turn he almost ticks over...
Failblog.org is one of my favorite daily blogs. Hilarious pictures and videos of fail.
Last weekend they had a new masterpiece:

House Advertisement Fail
It was not the big fallus which I saw first, not even with the big red circle and lines around it, but what I saw first was this:

Initial D fan Fail!
Apparently I have more interest in the Initial D Sprinter Trueno diecast than to sexual objects. Hmmm.... Is that a bad thing? Big Banpei FAIL?! [゚д゚]
