October lockup update

November 17, 2015 in video

I intended to paste this short clip about the status of the Celica and the lockup into the October update. Unfortunately I had over one and a half hours of raw footage for the update alone so I skipped the lockup update. I just re-watched this clip and thought it did need to be sent to the public out there. 😉

Breaking the Celica AA63: the big move

July 30, 2015 in wrenching

This happened today:
Moving the Celica AA63
I moved the Toyota Celica AA63 to another place that is only 12 minutes away from my home. Much saner than the 1 hour 20 minutes it was now. 😉

I was surprised the 4AGE fired up immediately after not being used for almost a year. Video: Chichibu touge videos from 1990

February 13, 2011 in video

I found ae86lan adding these videos to his favorites on Youtube. The three videos are footage of touge runs in May 1990 with mainly AE86s, AE82s and Starlets. I must warn that there is hardly any drifting involved in these videos: most cars car grip driving up and down the touges around Chichibu.

The Skyline lookalike tail lights in the beginning of the clip are from a Nissan Langley. You can also spot around 4:00 a Celica AA63 and around 5:00 a Carina AA63.

Here is another video from that very same night:

And last but not least, another one from a different night going up and downhill:
