Last week I posted up the first generation Honda Prelude I spotted and this week I won’t bother you with the Honda S2000 but rather with the Skyline GTS-t ER33:

The presumable owner of this Skyline used to drive the USDM 240SX I spotted many times before when I still lived in that area. However he did own a Corolla GT AE86 before he owned the 240SX and it was the first time I saw an AE86 in real life. ;)

Yesterday I was doing my Christmas shopping (actually us Dutch celebrate Sinterklaas) and had to buy some wrapping paper in a bargain store called Blokker. My eye fell on the bargain Hotwheels sale and couldn’t resist going through the bin. My heart skipped a few beats when I found the beautiful 2011 edition Skyline GT-R KPGC110:

For a bargain price of only 1.99 euros! That’s less than 3 dollars. WTF?! Lucky! Bargain!
So I dug deeper and found three more KPGC110s and a few others! (more on that later in this post) Unfortunately no hakosuka Nissan Skyline 2000GT-X or BRE Datsun 510 Bluebird. :(
In the end I bought two KPGC110s, one for my son and one for me (at work): Continue reading
Suzuki must have looked very well to the 1981 Honda City in both the styling and choice for advertising for the Mighty Boy:
The Suzuki Mighty Boy is a small ute based upon the Cervo/Alto SS40 and apparently was targeted at the young.

Normally fishermen pose with their catch next to the boat they used to catch it, so would these two guys have used their Toyota Mark II GSL for that purpose?

No I don’t think so: they must have caught their fish on a pier or something and then posed in front the rear-end of the Mark II. Definitely worth sticking this photo into the family album. ;)
Took me a while to figure out what model it is, but apparently it is a Mark II GSL hardtop coupe RX22 with the double carbed R18-B. It is a very beautiful car and probably impossible to find outside Japan. Also note the fifth generation Corona T100 and first generation Celica in the background!

Okay the owner/uploader’s name might be a bit confusing, but skyline2000gtexturbo is really enjoying his Carina GT Turbo very much. So much he posted a couple of videos to Youtube!
First of all, the introduction of the Carina:
What else could you add to a zenki Carina GT Turbo TA63 than a set of RS Watanabe rims? Well, they are only up front and unfortunately the rear features a set of the well known Toyota Snowflakes.
So how does it drive then? Continue reading
Dido posted a comment under a post I wrote about the Mitsubishi Galant Sigma that he owns one. So I followed the links and found his Facebook page which is scattered with images of his pride and joy:

Naturally it is an import, but it is actually no one else than the Japanese Ambassador who brought it to Bulgaria! But the previous owners thought it was junk and did no maintenance on it and left it for four years in a field. That’s when Dido bought the car.
It is just amazing how much switchgear you can mount in a car: Continue reading
