I’ve posted up a couple of reverse fetishes so far and I even posted an AE86 Gauge cluster before (which was wrongly indicated as EUDM). Japanese like overseas stuff like the Datsun 240K badges or Renault 5 Turbos. So not surprisingly this USDM AE86 Gauge cluster from a US Toyota Corolla GT-S AE86 is currently picking up some serious money on Auctions Yahoo:
It is functional, its speedo goes all the way up to 150mph (240km/h) and it is mirrored in layout. Can you guess what the current price is???

I’ve seen many Fujiwara Tofu Shop (private) inspired vehicles so far, but this Nissan Sunny RZ-1 B12 is done in such perfection that if the original was a Levin you had to look twice to see the difference.
Of course it does help that the Nissan Sunny RZ-1 B12 and the (kouki) Toyota Corolla Levin AE86 share the same silhouette and have a similar headlights/grill. Nevertheless I can’t recall ever seeing pictures of a panda Sunny B12.

Straight from a Toyota Soarer Super Gran Turismo MZ12 brochure this cutaway picture was scanned in a very high quality:
What I really like about this picture is the details in the 3 litre twin cam 6M-GE engine. Even though it was sold midst of Toyota’s twincam era it only featured two valves per cylinder. If you look close enough you can really see it clearly.

I watched this JDM advertisement for the Honda Civic 35XT and it kind of puzzles me what the 35XT stands for…
It just looks like a regular ED sedan, but then with the dual carbed hyper 16valve D15B2 engine in it…

About a year ago I posted a Hello Kitty bus spotted at the JCCA NYM 2012, but that Hello Kitty bus is nothing compared to this pink monster:
This bus has been spotted at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2013 by Car heal space
Tokyo Auto Salon always has the great or weird things at display. I already read from several sources that if there is one thing that has been dominating the Auto Salon this year it has to be the Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ. (or Toyota GT86/Scion FR-S)
I guess this life sized Choro Q Toyota TRD 86 is no exception to this rule. ;)
