When I saw the packaging of these Trueno AE86 screwdrivers my first thought was that it was a set of 86 screwdrivers. You know, like all those other 80-piece screwdriver set or 100-piece drill attachment set. The 86 in the name obviously refers to the AE86, so it’s a set of 4. Four screwdrivers for 64 dollars? That’s insane! Are these made of platinum? Or perhaps made of recycled boro Trueno AE86 drift missile body panels?
There are actually two nice things about this set. First of all you get to store these four screwdrivers in a metal box in the shape of a bone-stock Sprinter Trueno AE86. And it better be very protective for your screwdrivers as every screwdriver costs 16 dollars each!
The second nice thing is that Takumi endorses these screwdrivers in that small panel on the package. He exclaims something like “Thanks to this driver. It’s so refreshing. I don’t know what to do if I didn’t have this.”. So yeah, Takumi endorsed merch. So much wow.
