Back in 2007 when I sold my Toyota Corolla AE86 because it did not fit a childseat I looked into various cars to replace it. As you know one of them was the four door Toyota Carina TA60, but one other serious candidate was the Subaru Impreza WRX like this one:
The Carina won because it had cheaper maintenance and I don’t have to pay roadtax for it but still years afterwards I always looked around for a WRX or a WRX/GT-Plus…
I did spot this particular Impreza WRX a couple of times before but it wasn’t until I found out it featured a childseat that I decided to take a couple of pictures! It is a bit difficult to see but in the back is a childseat:
A week after I took these pictures of the WRC I actually caught it in traffic and I was following him all the way through town till I stopped at my son’s after school daycare and then I realized his son is actually also in the same daycare!
I did not meet him in person as he popped into the daycare before I could actually exit my car but I’m positive I’ll meet him face to face one of these days.
Apparently he already owns the Impreza WRX for ten years now, so I guess he had not the same issue as I had with the eight-six. Lucky bastard…
