Remembering Japanese cars from the past

DOTS: Honda Legend KA7

A few months ago I already spotted a second generation Honda Legend with UK license plates parked somewhere in town. So I decided to go back a few days later, but completely forgot about it. Until I passed it again earlier this week and decided I had to go back:

Not that the second generation Legend is that special, and not because it is a four door (there is a 2 door coupe driving around in town!) and not because it is parked only 300 meters from the S14. No mainly because someone killed its rear window:

I really don’t get it: why demolish someones car? Especially if the car is parked there for some time, does that give you the right to smash its rear window?

It must have happened quite recently since there are not many leafs inside the car.

Even though the interior is made of fake leather, getting it soaking wet will probably mean a complete write-off when left here for another few weeks… Besides that, if it stays like this it will probably be demolished even more. Seen that way too often in my old neighborhood in Amsterdam…

The leather is genuine, these cars were superb and the engineering was second to none, rare and special.
