I found this stack of old rusty J-tin on another rustoseum blog. It features a bunch of Toyota X60s, a Soarer Z10 and a Nissan Leopard F30:

Also visible next to the Soarer is the Laurel C34, Gloria Y31 and a blue 2 door Corolla Levin AE86 coupe.

Zoom in on the Soarer. It appears to have been either a racing car or a Kaidou Racer. I presume the latter. ;)

Last weekend Japanese Nostalgic Blog was featuring Michael John Grist's page with various Japanese ruins (haikyo). One of them was this rusty AE91 Corolla sedan at Tama lake:

The corolla must have been there for ages now: it is completely eaten by the foliage and the inside is covered in moss.

The front clearly shows the JDM Corolla emblem and one of the pictures on Michael John Grist's page shows that the 4A-FE engine is still there!

I have been in some mossy cars down at the wreckers before and when looking at these pictures I can clearly feel that mossy smell in my nose again! Yuck!

You can find more pictures of this mossy Corolla (and other ruins) at Michael John Grist's page

Time for some more Japanese rustoseums? This time they were shot by RA64Freddy:

This Skyline looks a bit lonely in that frozen mudfield. Who would leave such a nice four door sedan in the mid of a muddy field?

What about this Sprinter 2 door hardtop then? According to RA64Freddy it is a 1500cc 3A-U engined car, so the AE70 designation should be correct for this beauty!

Apparently I was wrong that you can only find a Mazda Cosmo down on the street in Japan!

Apparently not all Cosmos have found their way to museums yet!

Time for some more rust(oseums)!

Let's start with this Toyota Mark II Grande GX81:
Beaten up Toyota Mark II Grande GX81
Beaten up Toyota Mark II Grande GX81

It might have been stolen and dumped in the middle of nowhere after they beaten up this Mark II enough... Bit of a shame though: it is the Mark II Grande model, so it is the top of the line model...

What about this Cedric Y31?

It looks like this hardtop model is still in perfectly good health! Just parked somewhere in the foliage and left there for ages... Or could it be that it was parked in an open space and the foliage just grew around it? :P

Now even if this 1970 or 1971 Nissan 521 is quite rusty, it may still be in use! Tires aren't flat yet and judging from headrest on the driver seat it must have been replaced some time ago. It is clear that the model is the 521 since the grille has the four horizontal bars. This did not feature on the 520 models, but only on the 521 model.

All three pictures were taken from the usual place:
