ITT2012: the swapped Lexi!

A little bit different than the previous nostalgic posts is todays post. At the festival I found two Lexus IS200s where the engine was swapped in favor of some other engine. The (sorry to day this) lesser one was this IS200 with genuine JDM Altezza grille:

It has been imported to the Netherlands less than a year ago as an IS200 but on papers it already had a 2.5 litre engine. I think you can already guess what engine it had…

Indeed! A second generation 1JZ-GTE: Continue reading

ITT2012: The yellow whale MS68

Last year someone brought along their Crown RS40L but this year they could not make it. Another MS50 wagon made it to the festival but I only took one photo of it. So next in line is the kujira (whale) Crown where this super rare Crown Wagon MS68 was in perfect condition.

ITT 2012: Celicas from the Alpes!

I must say I’ve been quite lazy the past week. After attending the Internationaal Toyota Treffen in Gemert this year (the Dutch Toyota club TACN existed 20 years so ITT was held instead of the regular JCS) I left the photos on my camera in the past week without even uploading them anywhere. Let’s just say I’m too busy lately. ;)

Anyway, the first thing I noticed were a bunch of Celicas from Switzerland where this (presumably) RA28 was the most beautiful one:

I immediately took the opportunity and shot it from every angle possible, like this one: Continue reading

HachiRock Festa 2012

Every year I’m anxiously waiting for the new HACHiRoCK flyer design because every one so far has been a real work of art! And this year is no exception to that:
HACHiRoCK Festa 2012
Like every year the festival is held in the Sagamiko resort and this year it has been advanced one week to the 12th of September. Can’t wait till September and enjoy photos of all those 200 AE86s!
