Remembering Japanese cars from the past
Personally I think this kid has the coolest daddy of them all: his dad owns a Toyota 2000GT!
Well, actually that has not been confirmed since it doesn’t state who’s 2000GT it is…
But even though the 2000GT may not be yours you obviously want to keep this picture in the family album! ;)

I think I’ve posted up this fifth generation Skyline commercial before, but I’m not sure about it… What I’m positive about is that I never posted up the small Nissan Langley commercial after it!
This first generation Langley looks awfully similar to its bigger Skyline Japan brother!

Back when I shot this picture I just shot the yellow Miata hald an hour earlier on the same day. Must have been a Miata day I guess. ;)
I visited Amsterdam earlier this week and while waiting for my train on the Central Station this Amsterdam tourist postcard caught my eye:
Yes indeed: a third generation Mitsubishi Galant, a Nissan Sunny N13 (Pulsar N13 was sold here as the Sunny) and a Datsun Cherry N11 (Pulsar) and ehrm…somthing in the background. ;)
Somehow I knew in the back of my mind it was bad that I spotted these Japanese cars first and a second later the five brightly lit red windows behind them… And I know: it is also a really bad thing to admit… :(
Anyway, I just had to buy this postcard as proof and what unfortunate soul should I send it to? Any volunteers that wish to receive greetings from Holland? Or should I just send it to Japanese Nostalgic Car and see if they can appreciate it as much as I did? :)
I was browsing through some kyusha styled car videos on Youtube and I bumped into this video featuring the owners girlfriend and the Skyline C110 Ken & Mary theme song on the radio.
Everything just fits together: even Mary drives the car nowadays! It’s just like Ken and Mary in 2011!
I was blown away when I watched this clip: this Finnish Carina TA60 with 4A-GE turbo swap has so much power left to spare during its long corner drifts! It is almost child’s play to put it sideways!
