Family Album Treasures: touge eating Civic!

January 7, 2012 in Family Album Treasures

No, this 80s E-AT Civic does not literally eat the touge… It is rather reversed: the touge eats up the Civic’s tires. ;)

But that doesn’t matter much to its owner since it is Toda powered…
Definitely a snapshot I’d like to keep in my family album. ;)

Wangan Warriors meeting 10: Girly cars!

November 26, 2011 in wangan warriors

Car meetings are generally visited by boys (and their toys) but lately I do see more and more girls visiting these meetings. Some of them also bring along their own (tuned) cars.

I featured this Suzuki already in the stickerbomb posting, but nevertheless it is a girl’s car:
It's a girls car!!
Hello Kitty stickerbomb: it can’t get more girly than that!

It was not the only one around: this Honda Civic was also marked with the same It’s a girl’s car sticker:
It is a girls car

This is how the car looks as a whole:
Girly Civic

So what does she do with Pedobear then?

The Civic was not only covered in flowers on the outside, the inside was well treated as well:

Not really my cup of tea… ;)

That’s it for the Wangan Warriors meeting 10. I really enjoyed the meeting and will certainly go to a next meeting as well!

Hilarious: Yanni Civic

November 5, 2010 in hilarious

Maybe you already saw this seventh generation Honda Civic on Jalopnik yesterday, nevertheless I really need to repost it:
Hilarious: Yanni Civic
Hilarious: Yanni Civic

Yes, not only is it the ultimate posermobile, it also got a name now: Yanni!

Why? Because it has got a Yanni record behind the rear window:

And it is not only a Yanni record that makes this Civic great, the options list is longer than the hit list of Yanni:
- Chrome Honda logo on rear window
- Yellow brake calipers
- Hood scoop
- Fake hood vents
- Fake hood vents on the rear fender
- Fake chrome locking mechanism
- Chrome Honda logo on the bumper
Do I need to go on? :P

Video: 1984 Fuji International Speeday 250km

September 1, 2010 in video

I found this very good amateur video of the 1984 Fuji Gran Championship where a bunch of Sunny B110s, Sunny B310s, Starlet KP61s and first generations Honda Civics battled the TSA class 250km race. The competition is fierce and you can enjoy an 8 minutes spectacle of bumps, spins and drifts:

BTW: at 3:37 an unidentified car is going through the corner on 3 wheels. Anyone got an idea what car it is?
