In one of the Showa Meeting galleries I found a couple of Nissan GloriasCedric Y30s where one licenseplate stated it was Moon Equipped, but I surely had to disagree:

I spotted this picture with a nice looking Bluebird SSS 510 on PhilsCarBlog , but it wasn't the 510 that drew my attention:

Why? Because it is sitting on a set of Celica A40 alloys somewhere in 1989!
Why? Because you can!

You probably are (very) well known with the 4A-GE, you may have heard from the 7A-GE or even heard from the 5A-GE. But a 4.5A-GE? Probably never!

RS YASU 4.5A-GE
To clarify some things: the 7A-GE is a 1.8 litre engine made by combining a 4A-GE head and a 7A-FE bottom. The 5A-GE is a 1.7 litre (1720cc) engine made by replacing the crank and conrods with a (HKS) stroker kit. Both engines increase the capacity compared to a normal 4A-GE but because of their longer stroke they are renowned to be slower in response...

The 4.5A-GE is a standard 4A-GE with oversized pistons (83mm instead of 81mm) bringing up the capacity to 1.7 litre (1675cc) and is just as responsive as the normal 4A-GE. RS YASU is renowned for doing this conversion and of course the engine in the picture above is their showcase!

Probably already posted one hundred times before, but nevertheless some very interesting AE86 taillights:

I did see some ordinary led taillights for the AE86 before but these tail lights from Wataruworks are just insane! :D

In case you really want them, you can buy them from Wataruworks at Auctions Yahoo. (And use a company like Rinkya to get them handled and shipped!)
Lucky enough Wataruworks also sell normal looking led lights... ;)

I came accross this image on Mattari's blog and it reminded me of the Toyota Ipsum posting I made a year ago...

Too bad the video has been removed now... In a nutshell: it contained another Fujiwara Tofu replica parked in front of the tofu shop and in the background a Toyota Ipsum (Picnic outside Japan) was parked next to the tofu shop on the same spot the AE86 used to be parked... So apparently Bunta has sold the Ipsum! :D

Anyway, below this picture there was a whole (2chan) thread copied in which a couple of users wrote a funny Initial D spoof! I advice you to go to Mattari's blog and read the whole story (with Google Translate for instance)! ;)
