On Friday I already promised some photos of a spectacular Nissan. Well here it is: a widebody Nissan Silvia S12 Grand Prix!

The car looked very very clean. No spec of rust to be found and the whole car appeared to be 100% authentic!

The Grand Prix version of the Nissan Silvia was a limited edition (4.400 built) from which the majority featured the more powerful FJ20E engine.

We had some family album photos with a Silvia S13 before and also had someone doing the peace sign, but this photo combines them both!

The Silvia is an early Q's model produced in 1988 powered by the trusty twin cam CA18DE and a four speed automatic.
The owners wife is posing in front of the car in the late 80s and according to him they drove the car in their honeymoon. Now that's a nice slide to put into your family album!

This Nissan Silvia CPS311 project shows you that not all rustoseums end up as a piece of crumbled oxidized iron!

Amazing what they eventually did with the car. However I do wonder how much of that original CSP311 was used in the restored one!

Be prepared for an overkill of Hakosuka Skylines, Corolla Levin AE86s and Sprinter Trueno AE86s, (brand new) Nissan Silvia and 180SX S13s, Mazda FCs, MR2 AW11s, Isuzu Gemini, Eunos Roadster, Lancer Turbo, Toyota Carina and even an Isuzu Piazza right at the beginning! Two of the videos are shot on the pass next to Kurume (Fukuokai) and the other one on Yz circuit in Mizunami!

In this second video it really shows how dangerous the drifts of these guys actually were: I stopped counting after the tenth near accident with oncoming traffic!
