No I'm not dead...yet. I'm just in holiday mode so a bit less postings will be made in the upcoming weeks.

Not to refrain you from your daily dose of JDMness I'll give you the photo of this Miata I spotted earlier this week:

As you can see it rained heavily meaning a topless Miata would have been no fun at all!
You don't see too many black Miatas, so I guess this one really is an exception to the rule. :)

It has been a while since I posted up some Miatas. I definitely wanted to take loads pictures of Miatas in California, but since they were so ubiquitous I stopped after a while and in the end only have to post up...

First of all this Silver MX5 NC, caught at the tramstop in San Franciso:

The reason it was shot this irregular was that my colleague (who I was travelling with) was complaining he would be in the picture. So enjoy "Jake" and his silvery shoes. ;)

Second of all this green Miata, parked in the parkinglot of the conference center:

Only a short posting today, so only this single 1991 Mazda MX5 NA today:
Blue 1991 Mazda MX5 NA

For a long time I thought it was the same as another blue one in town, but only yesterday I found out they are actually different from each other. I'll take a picture of the other one for next Miata Hunting!

Now this Miata is a bit of everything: it is yellow, white and blue, it is imported brand new and it has quite a lot of rust!

Down on the Street: Yellow Mazda Miata

Originally imported in 1990 as a Miata and registered as white. Apparently the owner (or previous owner) resprayed it yellow but did not bother to change the registration. Then the sunroof got replaced by a blue hardtop.

From the backside you can see that it is gathering quite some rust:

Perhaps a small accident at the rear and that's why there is also a panel missing?

Would part thirteen bring bad luck? Let's hope not!

This time I have this beautiful (imported) dark blue 2000 Mazda MX5 NB for you:

Not only was it lowered nicely, it also had a nice lip and some dished rims. Now that's a Miata I'd like to drive! ;)

A few weeks later I photographed her sister, a green 2005 Mazda MX5 NB that was imported three days earlier (in January 2010) than the blue NB above.
