Japanese Nostalgic Car
In a topic on Japanese Nostalgic Car forum I found these pictures of Sonny Chiba (taken from the A6 Carina catalogues) abused by Roman:

Sonny Chiba says ... prove it!

Sonny Chiba says ... your anecdotal evidence is inadmissable!
If you read the topic (and that posting) well you will find out that those sayings from Sonny Chiba are spot on! Good work Roman! (`-´)>
Monday moring RSS reading gave me these beautiful videos by Zeppann containing various old Japanese (and European/American) cars at a Classic Car Club meeting held July 19th in Kuroishi:
Japanese cars spotted at quick glance (after 6:30 minutes) were almost the entire nostalgic lineup of Japan: (in no particular order)
Honda S800, Honda S600, Honda Beat, Nissan Cedric C210, Nissan Laurel C130, Nissan Skyline C110, Nissan Fairlady S30 280Z, Nissan Skyline C10, Mitsubishi Galant Lambda, Hino Contessa Coupe?, Nissan Fairlady S30 240ZG, Mazda Cosmo, Nissan Silvia CSP311, Mazda 360, Nissan Sunny B10, Honda N360, Nissan Skyline C210, Nissan Cedric C330, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Mitsubishi Starion, Soarer Z20, Toyota Corolla AE86, Nissan Cedric Y30 hardtop, Nissan Laurel C31 hardtop, Nissan Skyline DR30 ironmask, Nissan Bluebird 510, Prince Gloria, Nissan Cedric C130 (early), Toyota Crown MS110, Mitsubishi Minica (first generation) and Isuzu Bellet.
Then I got bored and stopped identifying them. [゚д゚]
And then there was a second video:
With a Subaru 360, Daihatsu Max, Mitsubishi Galant GTO, Mitsubishi Lancer, Toyota Publica and many many many many (did I already say many?) more Japanese nostalics! ヽ(´▽`)/
IMO worth watching and not a even a second of that video was wasted time!
Japanese Nostalgic Car blog found another blog full of rotting J-tin. [゚д゚]
Most of these blogs have pictures of rusted cars in both wild and urban areas! It appears like it is a national hobby in Japan to keep your old car outside your house if you have the space for it and otherwise park it in a yard (aka rustoseum) with some other rusty friends.
Just have a look at some cars featured on the blog JNC-blog found:

1967 or 1968 Nissan Cedric C130
A rare Nissan Cedric C130 Mark 2 from 1967 or 1968 without a windscreen. Windscreen missing == rotten interior! Not good! ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ

Nissan Skyline GC10 2 door hardtop coupe
A Nissan Skyline C10 2 door hardtop coupe, in other words a KGC10 (GT-X) or a KPGC10 (GT-R). But actually there is no hardtop anymore! Hopefully another GC10 hardtop coupe is happy with its new top...

Nissan Skyline C210 1600ti
Nissan Skyline C210 1600ti: the lowest spec of the C210 Skyline. A mere L16T inline 4 with double carb setup powered this Skyline. I would still love to own this car though: it would be a lot faster than my Carina! ( ̄ー ̄)
If you ever wondered what the Skyline C210 without round taillights looks like, have a look at this picture:

Nissan Skyline C210 1600ti rear
Not too bad, isn't it?
On the same dump there was also this super clean car:

Very clean Toyota Carina GT-TR TA63
A Carina GT-TR TA63!! (゚∀゚)
I have no idea what it was doing there: I could not find a rusty spot on it. Even better: not even a spec of dust! According to the blogger the car was for sale!
Stay tuned for more pictures from Japanese rustoseums!
I kind of miss Seibu Keisatsu on Friday when Japanese Nostalgic Car Blog doesn't post it in the Friday Video. This weeks My Lucky Stars was a good substitute, but it clearly missed the brutality of Seibu Keisatsu!
Lucky enough I browsed some pages on images.google.com last friday and found a site among the links which actually has a every episode listed in them, and not only that: it also features the complete car list of the Police! :)

Seibu Keisatsu Cedric C330s used by the Police
It also features a lot of background information, like in the case of the C330s above it states that this generation of Cedrics mainly were used as police cars to be blown up or crash by the bad guys during the chases. What a bad fate for these beautiful cars!
Anyway, you can find the site here:

If you're only interested in the cars, you can find the car listing here:
http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/dandy-arata4/cars.html
I just happened to stumble upon this nice video of all pre 1984 Japanese police cars:
I think the people loving the Seibu Keisatsu regulars at Japanese Nostalgic Car blog will recognize a lot of the cars in this video.
I did spot a lot of Crows, Glorias and Cedrics. But also rare cars like the Ford Mustang Mach 1 and a 240Z and a 300ZX highway chasers!
