While walking towards Fisherman's Wharf I spotted this nicely tuned Honda CRX mk II:

The CRX only had two bucketseats in the front, a rollcage and was sitting on four golden dished SSR Mk III wheels (or copies). Saw the car drive around the block a couple of times before it parked on the opposite side of the street.

Last week I finally was able to make some pictures of this Honda CRX Del Sol:

Down on the street: Honda CRX del sol

It is parked around the corner of my mothers place, but either I didn't have my camera with me or it was parked in a difficult spot. This time I decided to make use of the phonecam on my Desire and see how bad it could get. The picture quality marginally made it and I decided not to pursue the CRX anymore...

The rims used are actually quite nice and fit the styling of this CRX:

Nothing more typically Japanese than posing on a picture with a V-sign, especially when you are resting against your Honda CRX:

Commerical time: Honda See are EX

It is almost two weeks since I last posted a commercial, so how about these CR-X commercials? They surely are typical early 80s commercials with their music by Salon Music and their comic like photo animation!

The name CRX was even more cleverly chosen than the, already famous, SX designation. The song pronounces it clearly as See are EX. Now guess what you could get if you bought this car??

Another one:
Two more CRX and a CRZ commercial after the jump!

Video: CRX 4x4 somewhere in Holland

Now this is the weirdest 4x4 I've seen for a while: a Honda CRX 4x4!

I found a video on a (Honda related) Minkara and when looking at some other videos posted by its uploader it revealed the 4x4 CRX was actually from the Netherlands! Now that's social media: finding stuff on the other side of the planet that actually happens around the corner! :D

I found it is actually for sale as well:
CRX 4x4 for sale

According to the information I found in the ad (and another one) the CRX shell is placed on top of a Nissan Patrol with a 3.3 liter turbo diesel engine. Now that's a fun machine! :)
