We all did it once: doing a dry drift run. I did it as well: try out that heel-to-toe technique when standing still. Do a clutch kick without the risk of damaging your clutch. Do a quick up- and downshift without the chance hearing of grinding teeth from your gearbox. A very effective and safe way of learning to know your car.

But what if you are actually on a circuit and have blown your engine to bits and still want to enjoy your car? Well, you make videos like this:

I must say this guy is quite good in mimicking the 16v 4AGE and the T50 gearshifts! It kind of reminded me of this guy imitating an "import car" with his mouth. Maybe he watched Initial D a bit too much? :P

Alexi Smith from Nori Yaro posted a picture of another way to recycle your AE86 seats:
Recycle your AE86 in a different way!
Recycle your AE86 in a different way!

It kind of reminded me of the AE86 seats I tried to clean up... Not that they were this moldy, but believe me: they were moldy enough!

Back then I was very brave and removed all metal rings holding the seat together. Thinking about me removing those rings still hurts because of the blisters I got. Then I removed the cloth and washed it 3 or 4 times, both by hand and in the washing machine. In the end the seat looked cleaner than when I got them, but when I compared it to the dirty seats which were already in my Trueno I decided to keep those: they were cleaner than the ones I had washed!

Well at least I learned how the disassemble and reassemble both AE86 seats. ;)

Great to see Jeroen Willemsen (aka Kultivate) picking up his personal blog again! :)

He has been posting a few entries for the past days including one posting about Masami Hirosaka parking his RC Levin AE86 sideways:

Damn, that's tough! :D
