Carina A6

Just found this 1983 Toyota Carina advertisement on Youtube:

Powerwindows, powersteering and stains on the seats? Sounds like a Carina MyRoad! ;)

This week another counting sighting:

Can you count all the Carina sedans in this picture?? ;)

At first I thought of counting the vans, but actually that would be too easy. Coupes would be a bit harder, but they are less in numbers, so that's why I decided upon the sedans. :P

I counted 13 here... :)

I came to a total of 34 here, but I did not count the ones behind the group of people in the front row...
The extra difficulty is that this picture also contains Celica A60s (Supra MK2 is called Celica XX in Japan) and it is sometimes hard to distinguish a Carina Coupe rear from a Celica Liftback in the second or fourth rows.

According to the poster of this original 80s footage it should contain a Carina A6.
So, let's spot the Carina!

It could be at 0:19 or at 0:44 or at 1:03, but IMO all three cars are the same Mark II GX61 Hardtop coupe. Taillights are definitely not Carina and match more or less this Mark II:

I must say that they look quite the same so I understand the mix up.

Video is a bit boring nowadays while back then it was supreme action. Maybe we're getting used to all that D1 action from Jaan. Nice stock AE86 and Skyline RS-Turbo R30 though!
