Carina Sightings: Panda Carina coupe AA63

No votes yet

After last weeks sad news some good news: I got word from Arpad that his coupe was spotted with different licenseplates on it, so there is hope he will be reunited with the car! Nevertheless, if you spot it somewhere: don't hesitate to contact me!

Now to get back on topic: I found this immaculate Panda Carina GT-R coupe for sale on Auctions Yahoo:

Panda Carina coupe GT-R AA63

The buy-me-now price is at 1000000 yen (13000 US dollar) a bit steep but you will get a whole lot of car for that money!

First of all the car only travelled 110000 kilometer so far, the body is practially rust free (and in very good shape) and is still in its original panda paint with colorcode 041 (Super White III, only available on late models). Second of all the car features an oldskool period correct urethane lip and louvre rear window.

Carina Sightings: stolen Carina Coupe TA62

This Carina Sightings is actually a very sad posting: I received an email from Arpad that he bought >AndrewGL's Carina Coupe TA62 and that he was very happy with it...until someone stole it a couple of days ago! :(

This is how the Carina looked before it got stolen:

The thief was well prepared: they car was immobilized by removing the battery. Unfortunately that didn't stop them.

Carina Sightings: Carina TA40 deluxe wagon

Yesterday this orange Carina deluxe wagon became for sale on Marktplaats and I wrote to the owner asking if I could put it on the blog since it is such an amazing treasure find!

The owner is the second owner of the car since 2006 and bought it back then with only 124.000km on the odometer and today the Carina only covered 146000km so far!

The bodywork appears to be in excellent condition and that is mainly due to the anti rust treatment the first owner applied to the car.

Carina Sightings: find the Corona T120!

This hideous creation is actually a Corona T120!

At first I thought there was a Corolla KE70 hiding under that ill fitted front and backend, but after close inspection on encountering the very same car at the airport I concluded that it had to be a Corona T120.

As you can see these KE70 wind deflectors are ill fitted on the doors and the shape of the mid section of the bodywork distincts it from the KE70.

Carina Sightings: Perfecty white Carina AA63 sedan

Last week I found this perfect Carina sedan (presumably an AA63) on deep dish Work Equip rims in .

The AE92 front bumper fits perfectly with the older Carina A60 looks.
The photo itself is also perfectly shot: the wet asphalt plus the less bright truck and van makes the white Carina stand out from its background. Very nice! :)
