Remembering Japanese cars from the past

DOTS: Nissan 200SX S14 in fall (part II)

Last week I realized I haven’t posted about the Nissan 200SX S14 rustoseum since the end of March. Would it still be there?
Yes it is still there:

It is only the beginning of fall, so not many leafs are on it yet…

But the low sun gives a great opportunity to shoot pictures like this:

A bit dark and gloomy looking S14! 😉

Summer didn’t do the car much good either, just take a look at this:

It is not only birdcrap that is on there, there is also mold on the steeringwheel. You will have to focus on the top of the steeringwheel to actually see it… I’ll take my manual lenses with me next time to be able to capture the mold better.

Also the left mirror has been smashed now:

That means the same thing as with the Legend: things will only get worse from now on. 🙁

I’ll see if I can shoot some pictures of the car covered in leafs upcoming weeks. Would be cool to compare with last years picture. 😛

hey banpei why dont you ask to the neiborghs if the car is just abandoned or something, maybe you can get it for free since the car is there so long time, besides, is probably that the engine is “intact” but it would be really lucky if the engine is well preserved with so many time of not use

I already did that, but they didn’t know the owner either. They rather saw it go than having it in front of their house…
The engine did not run for over 2 years and it shouldn’t be a big problem getting it to run.
    Anyway, better read this:
