Pochette is a French word for a tiny square shaped handbag for women, so the Honda Today Pochette is supposed to be the automotive handbag for women?
In the Pochette you can barely fit anything except a wallet and maybe some female accessories so perhaps Honda was spot on here. ;)

On a Sunday (about two weeks after I bought my Honda Civic) I was driving home from the Zoo with my son when a traffic jam started to emerge. Earlier I already spotted this nice Honda Civic EK with deep dished rims among the cars on the highway so I quickly changed lanes and used the opportunity of the slow traffic to grab a camera and take a photo of it:
Shortly after the jam disappeared so it’s just this single shot I could take.
While overtaking the EK I gave the guys a thumbs up and headed home.
As a child I loved the Birdman and the Galaxy Trio cartoons by Hanna Barbara. Birdman is capable of flying and shooting solar beams out of his fists. So when I spotted this cover of a 1971 Suzuki Fronte SSS brochure I really wondered why Birdman needed a car anyway?
Or could it be that the Suzuki Fronte SSS is actually faster than Birdman?

Earlier this week I stumbled upon a photo of a Nissan 2000GT (aka Hakosuka Skyline or HLGC10) on a Japanese blog. The car clearly was the European 2000GT and not the Japanese Skyline:
The url in the photo was no longer functioning, but after digging a bit I found their new website! ;)
The photo had been taken at the ETCC 24 hour endurance race at Spa Francorchamps from 22nd of July 1972 to 23rd of July 1972.

There is so much footage of the Hoshino Impul Nissan Silvia KS110 Super Silhouette race car that we tend to forget there was actually another car on the gird that resembled it: the Nissan Gazelle KS110 driven by Haruhito Yanagida!
In the season 1981 Yanagida’s car resembled Hoshino’s car with its bodyshape, but Yanagida’s car wasn’t a Silvia: it was a Gazelle. So you see the difference? ;)
I guess most of the audience also had difficulties and therefore Yanagida changed the bodyshape to the Nissan Bluebird 910 from the 1982 season onwards.
